Welcome To Atlanta…

Well the 2008 NFL Draft is in the books and overall the Falcons found much success. Here’s a list of the entire 2008 draft class. I’ll be reveiwing some game tape and will post my analysis on each player in the next day or so.

Pick 3 - Matt Ryan QB (Boston College)
Pick 21 - Sam Baker OL (USC)
Pick 37 - Curtis Lofton ILB (Oklahoma)
Pick 68 - Chevis Jackson CB (LSU)
Pick 84 - Harry Douglass WR (Louisville)
Pick 98 - Thomas Decoud S (California)
Pick 138 - Robert James OLB (Arizona State)
Pick 154 - Kroy Bierman LB (Montana)
Pick 172 - Thomas Brown RB (Georgia)
Pick 212 - Wilrey Fontenot CB (Arizona)
Pick 232 - Keith Zinger TE (LSU)

    the first few picks are alright but the rest are no names, why didnt we take a good tight end, i watched almost the whole draft and kept getting madder and madder when we kept passing up good tight ends

    I like our first 3 picks.
    I’m so-so about our next 3 picks.
    I’m perplexed by our final four picks.

    I understand that beyond the 3rd round you’re either drafting “projects” or special team players….BUT for the love of all things holy we could have taken DeMario Pressley(DT), Frank Okam(DT), Roy Schuening(OG), Carl Nicks(OT) or Kellen Davis(TE) in the 5th rd!!!
    I mean who cares if any of these guys had character issues…they we’re 5TH ROUNDERS!!!
