Matt Ryan Wearing 2?!?!
If you watched the 2008 NFL Draft or any related programs that have analyzed the Falcon’s pick at three, you heard Matt Ryan’s intangibles be compared to the likes of Tom Brady on more than one occassion. While the number he wears on his back in the NFL will probably not be a factor in his success, it’s still dissapointing when your future franchise QB doesn’t get his old college number, which incidentily is 12, the same as Brady.
It’s even more dissapointing when you realize that the reason your star draft pick couldn’t get his number is because another former round one draft choice that has struggled to produce already wears it, that player of course being Mr. Michael Jenkins.
None the less Matt Ryan and all the other rookies picked up their pro-numbers late last week. Here’s a list of who to watch next season, and make sure your on the look out for number two…
