As for the Panthers colors, I believe the blue was to go along with the "Carolina blue" scheme, while not infringing on the University of North Carolina's color scheme. I actually like the blue most of the Panthers colors. As for the logo, it is actually symbolic of the North and South Carolina. As it sits, it represents NC. If it's angled a bit to the right, it looks like SC. Also, there are other adjectives you could have chosen without making the "retard" reference. That part was neither cool nor funny.
