Atlanta 3-2 in win over Packers
Lambeau fell quiet this afternoon as the Atlanta Falcons came into northern Wisconsin and dropped the beloved home team to 2-3 on the season. Matt Ryan made good throws and managed the offense in scoring 2 TDs and an interception.
But it was the whole Falcons team that really contributed to this victory. Weather it was overcoming really bad officiating (it was god awful) or a Packers team that just simply would not lie down and lose, it was a good game. Michael Turner was strong running for over 100 yards and scoring his 6th TD of the season.
Aaron Rodgers looked so darned good all day adjusting to the Falcons coverage schemes and evading a decent pass rush from John Abraham. I am really impressed with the way the Falcons have grown in the last 5 weeks. Both, rookies and vets just look to be coming together and I am very happy with how well we have executed.
The Bird Speaks!
