The Atlanta Falcons have a tall order. A big order.
The Philadelphia Eagles are the first opponent off of our bye and I have to say that I am scared. Not scared enough that I am not picking my birds to beat these birds but still this team is not to be taken lightly.
First off, Brian Westbrookappears to be coming back from his rib injury just in time to add one more demension to what has been a pretty potent offense. The thing that doesen’t make sense to me is why they are so good. The receiving corps isn’t very good looking on paper and westbrook has missed 2 games so far but still has 6 freaking touchdowns (4 rushing 2 receiving)!
Donovan McNabbis one of the best QBs I have ever had the pleasure to watch and while he is playing he always gives those guys in green a chance to win. 8 TDs to 3 interceptions are pretty good numbers if you ask me.
Matt Ryan is in line for a good but not a great game. The Eagles have a decent defensive backfield and I like the way they play. Brian Dawkins is a monster.
Jerious Norwood I have a feeling about him this week maybe his first kickoff return? I don’t know why, I just do. Michael Turner is looking sweet against the 9th rated run defense. Philly has allowed 2 consecutive 100+ yard rushers and I think that Turner will make it 3.
Atlanta has a tall order against McNabb and I think this one has got to be a shootout to be an advantage for Atlanta. If D is big then I have to say I am not liking the birds chances.
Atlanta 34-30
The Bird Speaks!
