If it happens it could and probably will be a difference maker in the NFC South.
Albert is said to want to stay close to his Tennessee home and Carolina and Atlanta could be two very good possibilities.
If the Falcons can keep Haynesworth away from the Panthers it will be a blessing. If we get him does it mean we are better for it? I am just not sure….
Haynesworth is an impact player. He is strong and is a terror against the opposing offense. He never stops and has to be accounted for on every down. I just get a very bad feeling about him. Injuries, acting out (head stomping), inconsistent play. It all scares the heck out of me especially when I think about the price tag that will certainly be attached to the most coveted free agent this year.
I could be wrong. I was the guy at the draft party who, right after my obligatory beer bong shot got upset that the Falcons picked Ryan over Glenn Dorsey (wow was I wrong).
The Falcons have a lot to think about this off season and I for one cannot wait to see what happens……
