Ok, so I didn’t break the story but being the resident Falcons fanatic I have to say something right?
Jamal Anderson did a stupid thing and got arrested in an Atlanta nightclub snorting cocaine and was also caught with a joint in his pocket. So how does this make a difference in Falconsland? Not much since the guy is no longer with the team and I won’t say I am disappointed because, personally I don’t think the guy did anything wrong.
First off, should Anderson and his friend who were allegedly snorting lines off of the toilet seat in a nighclub bathroom be punished? I think that snorting anything off of a public toilet seat is punishment enough. If you ask me he was doing something that a lot of people do and he wasn’t hurting anybody. So I say this to Atlanta police and to all other law enforcement who arrest people who want to get high. You won’t stop them from doing it so leave them alone.
So there you have it. Something you won’t read on any other sports blogs a little social commentary.
