Who are the worst Falcons draft picks ever?

by Falcons

Fansided is going to have a 64 man worst draft pick tournament and I need your help to decide who we at Blogging Dirty will send to the big dance.

 Here are some ideas:

Aundray Bruce, Atlanta Falcons (No. 1, 1988)
The NFL draft is a science? Hah! Bruce was a speedy outside linebacker from Auburn, but he ended up starting just 42 games in his 11-year career. The Falcons wanted a pass-rusher, but they should have taken the guy who went No. 2 — Neil Smith (105 sacks) — or maybe better, one of three wide receivers: Tim Brown, Sterling Sharpe or Michael Irvin.

Michael Vick, Atlanta Falcons (No. 1, 2001)  C ‘mon, we passed on LT for a guy who just got out of a FEDERAL PRISON!

Yeah, he is running out of time to fall off of the draft bust list. Let's keep 'em coming.

Jamaal Anderson - 8th overall pick, he's averaging 1 sack a season.  Yikes.

Brice Pickens good call. He was pretty bad.

It's easily Bruce Pickens.  The Falcons at least got a little production from Aundray Bruce (16 sacks and 3 INTS in his first 3 seasons) and Vick took them to the playoffs twice and made the Falcons relevant again.

Bruce Pickens was taken with the 3rd overall pick and his career line - 2 INTs and 1 sack.  He was completely out of the league after 4 seasons.

It's no contest.

I second Mike Vick.

ya'll gave up a *LOT* for him too.
