Most of you probably don’t know Laurent Robinson. I am a big fan of the Illinois State wide receiver and I am sorry to report that one heck of a player is now a member of the St. Louis Rams. The Falcons traded spots in the upcoming draft The Falcons exchanged picks in the fifth and sixth rounds with the Rams in Monday’s trade. Atlanta moved up 22 spots in the fifth round, to 160th overall, and 20 spots in the sixth round, to No. 196 overall. This is a good trade for the birds because it clears up who is who in the pecking order of the Falcons receiving corps and the ability to move up in the draft is always nice. I’ll miss you Laurent!

To you haters out thre this trade with of Laurent Robinson to the Rams is the best thing that could happen for this young man. Lets revisit his rookie season, 37 catches, for 440 something yards, and if you forgotten who was the quarterback, Joey Harrington…enough said. He has alot of upside to him and you will diffently see this season will you can see his talent. Atlanta Falcon regime you will live to regret this day. It is my understanding that he ran the best routes, the best hands, and to my estimation the top reciever on the team. I went to games and saw him run precise routes only for the qb not to give a look, and if you knew anything about sports it takes a toll on any player when it is obvious that there was a mental strain on LR but he lived through a bad situation and will show all you haters what he is all about. I am happy for the Rams to give him a positive opportunity that will result in a an outstanding season ahead.
