Hey Sean! Nick here from Naptown's Finest.

Just wanted to say that i gotta disagree with your thoughts on the Colts! They may have had a "down" year last year in terms of stats and numbers, but they still went 12-4! That's 12 wins, which is on par for exactly what they did during the entire Dungy era.

I think there is no way this year the wheels fall off or the Colts miss the playoffs !! If anything - they do better in 2009 !!

Peria Jerry is actually one to watch. However, the predictions are absurd. As far as Atlanta goes, the Falcons are best a wild-card team and probably an 8-8 or 7-9 team. Sorry, but teams will prep for them and their defense will actually be weaker.

On the other hand the Carolina Panthers will win at least 11 games and will probably take the NFC Championship. They are returning 20 of 22 starters. The Panthers have the leagues top run game and watch for 3rd year receiver to become a very active member of the offense.

The Panthers upgraded their defensive issues somewhat, but Ron Meeks will take Carolina's 2nd round pick, Everette Brown, into a pro-bowl caliber, Freeney-esque player in his first seaon. Brown was the best pick in the entire draft.

Finally, Carolina's quarterback issues will be resolved this season. The rehab period for Tommy John surgery is 16-24 months. Jake is getting very close to the period where he stands to be 100%.

The issue last season, medically speaking, says an athlete in the first 18 months following the procedure has at best, about 60% of his actual level of consistency and strength in the arm. Now, the you will see Delhomme return to a "better than new" form in 2009 and will take the NFC South and most likely the NFC and will probably play New England in the Superbowl.
