Falcons continue to bolster secondary with former Jaguar Williams

by Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons got another CB today and I like this move a lot. Let’s look at the facts, Brian Williams is an 8 year veteran and was a fourth round selection of the Minnesota Vikings. Williams played for coach Mike Smith for 2 seasons 2006 & 2007 and started all 16 games last year.

Strong, versatile, physical and great hands are all words used to describe Williams and he is expected to challenge for a starting position this year. How do I feel about the pick-up? How could I not like a veteran pick-up to give an already strong team more ability to compete in a difficult division with a difficult schedule. Let’s give it up to Thomas Dimitroff for what looks to be another great veteran.
