The Atlanta Falcons (4-1) come into Dallas down a key member of their secondary in Brian Williams, the former Jaguar and favorite of coach Mike Smith. Williams injured his knee in last Sunday nights win at home against the Chicago Bears.
The Cowboys (3-2) come into the game off of their bye week and look avoid a possible .500 record in a very tough NFC East battle. The ‘boys boat the 3rd rated running game against a Falcons run defense that has been much improved since their loss at New England.
Atlanta has the 23rd ranked rush defense in the league (118 yards per game) [...]

Gameday: Falcons at Cowboys
Falcons beat the Bears 21-14
A really tough win in Atlanta, a very tough win. All I can say is that the Falcons got all they could handle in a game that seems all too real as something that could have gone very very wrong. Matt Ryan, after a career best game in San Francisco threw 2 interceptions and the Falcons as a whole struggled to score against a Bears defense that was stronger that I expected.
Fantasy footballers like myself rejoiced as the big three (White, Turner, Gonzalez) all hit pay dirt. Michael Turner turned a sub par game into something good with his fourth quarter [...]

Falcons a force in San Francisco

The Falcons, coming off of a tough loss in Foxboro, MA in week 3 and a bye week in week 4 the Falcons flew across the country to the city by the bay and to face a physical 49ers defense and the NFC’s most unlikely win-at-all-costs QB Shaun Hill.
The Falcons were not given much chance in this game by the local and national media. NFL Network said this would be the game to determine if the Falcons or the 49ers were ready to be taken seriously. Well, [...]
