Week 16 Bills at Falcons: The rundown

Atlanta, GA-  The Birds are home against the Buffalo Bills after a win last Sunday in New Jersey.  The Falcons need to win this game not for playoff seeding as they are out of the running but to end the 44 year old stretch of no consecutive winning season in franchise history.

Brian Brohm is expected to start today for Buffalo and the 3rd stringer should hopefully be under duress all game long with the Falcons defensive line out for blood. Jamal Anderson who, after being a bit of a bust in the left defensive end position has found some new life inside as a defensive tackle.

Michael Turner has been ruled out of the game this week due to his ankle injury and Jerious Norwood and Jason Snelling will share carries in place of ” The Burner”

What to look for:

Middle linebacker Curtis Lofton will play and the leagues 2nd leading tackler will be in a great position to have a chance to overtake the league leader Patrick Willis.

Tony Gonzalez is winding down yet another great season and should certainly be voted to the Pro Bowl yet again. The Bills should have had a very tough time covering the future Hall of Famer as they have struggled all season against opposing Tight Ends.

Look for DE Kroy Biermann an impact in todays game as he will see a good amount of playing time today. I predict at leat least 2 sacks of the Bills QB Brohm.
