Thanks for stopping by Eric. Great breakdown of the Falcons schedule. I agree with you that 11 wins is likely and 13 could be attainable. At first pass I saw 11 wins with losses to Eagles, Saints, Ravens, Packers and then one game that you can never predict (Seahawks, 49ers, Bengals?).

They brought a lot of defensive pieces in to shore up that leaking sieve from last season so if they can mesh and improve from the bottom of the league to even the middle of the league, now we're talking.

The offense is there already, just need to avoid being snake-bitten by the injury bug again. And lightning can't strike twice can it? (knocks on wood)

if the offense has 2008 numbers, and the defense steps up, a playoff run is imminent. the key for Atlanta is winning the games they're supposed to win. They "should" sweep the NFC west, and beat three AFC North Teams (Baltimore is going to be great this year). They should sweep the Bucs and at least split with Carolina and New Orleans (A Carolina sweep is possible). The Green bay game and Philly game are both winnable if they can get pressure on Rogers and Kolb. I see them winning anywhere from 11 to 13 if everyone stays healthy. The saints will be tough but atlanta plays them tough every year.
