While linking to a New Orleans Saints site could be considered blasphemous, the positive Falcons talk far outweighs the the fact that you will be reading it surrounded by Old Gold and Black.

From the article: Beware the Atlanta Falcons.

Hit the Jump for the rest of the Falcons goodness.

If you’re looking for a candidate to emerge as this year’s version of the New Orleans Saints, you don’t even have to leave the NFC South.

The Falcons are on a steady rise heading into their third year under Coach Mike Smith and quarterback Matt Ryan. They’ve continued to add weapons (tight end Tony Gonzalez in 2009, and cornerback Dunta Robinson in 2010). And they couldn’t have hand-picked a better schedule this season.

FoxSports.com released their Post-Draft Power Rankings. The Falcons are 11th – right on par with where they were in the ESPN rankings, but they take a shot at not only Sean Weatherspoon but the entire defense, which should provide all the motivation they need on the field.

Highlight from the article: Still, can this pass rush get to the QB, or will they be rocking the “matador” defense in 2010? Say it with me, “Ole!”

And finally, ATLJBO gets his highlight on and shows us just who it was the Falcons brought home in the draft.
