Good to see you back Funballad. It bad been a while. I never went to Fulton County stadium but always remember watching the games on TV and seeing the baseball diamond on the football field. I don't like shared stadiums especially when that infield dirt gets muddy and the footing is always tricky. I never made it to the Kingdome but have been to Qwest Field and it's a great stadium. I'm not sure Portland could support a football team. The people's interest are so varied, but it would certainly create an instant rivalry with Seattle if that happened. I think the Georgia dome is getting ranked low because it is a dome and most people believe football needs to be played outside.

only 2 stadiums i have been in are fulton county stadium when i was much younger and the King Dome in Seattle.
The long drive to seattle hasn't made it easy for me to get to see a game at their new stadium. but i went 3 times to fulton county in atlanta when i was a kid. first time i didnt even get to see the game. I was part of the cub scouts halftime show. I wish portland had a team but here they only care about soccer and the trailblazers.

Agreed! Outdoor stadiums do provide a nicer atmosphere which is probably a big reason the Georgia Dome was rated low. Thanks for stopping by!
