You once stopped the wave with the blink of an eye. There’s a three-year waiting list to attend your tailgate. And you may just be Applebee’s “most interesting fan in the world.”
In celebration of football season, anyone who visits an Applebee’s in greater Atlanta from Sept. 11 through Nov. 5 can enter an original “I’m the most interesting fan in the world” one-liner to automatically receive a certificate for a free entrée offer to use on his or her next visit.
Every Sunday, at halftime of the early afternoon NFL game, each restaurant’s bartender will read the week’s best one-liners submitted by guests. Patrons will judge the lines, and the one receiving the most cheers will be declared the winner. The weekly winner at each restaurant will receive an Applebee’s gift card, his or her line featured on the restaurant’s wall, a “Most Interesting Fan in the World” hat and more.
