@MO CUTTER Oh man, the Boller deal was a fiasco. That didn't work out at all. But you have to admit, the guy is very smart and hes not the only guy to whiff badly on a QB in the first round *cough*Ryan Leaf*cough*

@Greg Huseth There's a pretty nice crop of TE's in the 2013 draft and knowing TD, he is eyeing those opportunities. Egnew does fit the height/weight/speed kind of guy some teams may reach for. Every time I hear a Brian Billick player report I just can't help but be reminded of the Kyle Boller tragedy. LOL

I agree, there is no reason in the world for the Falcons to take anyone but an O-Lineman, or any number of defensive linemen/other defensive players. It would be a tremendous waste to take Egnew or really any TE (short of potentially Fleener) with our 2nd round pick. But you have to concede that Billick has a point. Saying Egnew might go in the 2nd round is extreme, but it would be just like NFL head coaches and general managers to fly off the handle and reach very far for a TE that may not even work out. If the Falcons had their 4th round pick, I think they would use it on a TE, but since they don't, I would think they would have to reach a tad, or just draft yet another backup at the position.
