This is no real news to any Falcons fans, but it certainly is of note: the Atlanta Falcons begin their offseason training program today. This means that almost all players will be present in Flowery Branch today for weight lifting, conditioning, and most importantly the beginning of players familiarization with their new offensive and defensive schemes. Looking at twitter, guys like Todd McClure have declared that this is the point when they begin their quest for the ultimate goal. They could not be more right. What is accomplished just North of Atlanta in the next weeks will have a tremendous impact on the 2012 season. If a lot of quality work is put in during this training period, the Falcons will be able to get a lot more done during training camp; if not, the Falcons will be playing catchup all season long.

What do you hope the Falcons will specifically target during this offseason program?
