I personally like Rabid Raptors as a nickname. But people will always refer to the team as the “dirty birds”.

Before I read the rest of this extremely long article I want to let the author know this. You obviously do not know where the phrase “Dirty Bird” is derived from. “Dirty Bird” is a play on the Hip Hop phrase “Dirty South” which was originally created by Atlanta, GA Dungeon Family member Cool Breeze and was made popular in the mid-90′s by various southern artists. We still use the phrase so it’s not going anywhere.
