Once again, it’s the time of the week to look at the Atlanta Falcons official injury report. You can find a link to it here.

Jonathan Babineaux and Harry Douglas were limited in practice with the same injuries they dealt with last week. Douglas was limited on Wednesday rather than being held completely out of practice.

Garrett Reynolds missed practice completely with a back injury, as did Kevin Cone with a groin injury.

New additions to the injury report are K Matt Bryant (back), Roddy White (back), Drew Davis (hamstring), and Sean Weatherspoon (ankle). The first three saw limited practice time, and I wouldn’t worry one bit about their injury situation.

Weatherspoon’s injury, on the other hand, is considerably more troublesome. He had dealt with a thigh injury earlier in the season, but was only limited in practice as the injury wasn’t very serious. This time around, ‘Spoon’s injury is much more significant. He walked off the field after sustaining his injury, but then was carted to the locker room. His ankle injury was classified as a ‘minor sprain’, but it still held him completely out of practice. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out, as a Falcons defense minus Weatherspoon wouldn’t have nearly the teeth that it would with him. I would expect him to be limited in practice today, as well as Friday, and be questionable against he Cowboys on Sunday. If he doesn’t practice today, it doesn’t bode well for him.
