Pre-Game Predictions: Falcons @ Dolphins

Less than an hour until game time, here are some game time predictions:

Matt Ryan is going to have to carry this team with a lack of a dominant run game.  I shouldn’t have a big problem.  The Miami Secondary is nothing to laugh at, especially with Brent Grimes on the roster.  The Falcons, however, should still be able to get it done, even if he has to rely only on Julio Jones.

Matt Ryan: 380 yards, 3 touchdowns, 1 interception.

Respectively, the receiver, without a full speed Roddy White will have to make their catches.

Julio Jones: 12 catches, 160 yards 1 touchdown

Tony Gonzalez: 9 catches, 90 yards 1 touchdown

Harry Douglas: 6 catches, 50 yards

Roddy White: 4 catches, 30 yards

Jason Snelling and Jacquizz Rodgers: 6 catches, 50 yards.

The defense is going to have to do some serious work to help the offense come away with a win.  Miami’s offense isn’t nearly as productive as the Falcon’s but the defense can’t give up the big plays.  I believe that some surprising players step up.

Massaquoi will get a sack.  Tannehill will throw two interceptions and be sacked twice.  Joplo Bartu will lead the team in tackles again.

On the negative side, the offensive line is in shambles.  Matt Ryan is going to get beat up.  Most likely three or more sacks and a bunch of hits.

Final Score:  Miami 24 Atlanta  34
