The Atlanta Falcons will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a Week 7 NFC South divisional matchup. Tickets for the game are averaging $73, over 40% below that average prices for both Falcons tickets at home and Buccaneers tickets on the road. Prices are also down 28% this week, and with the two teams combining for just one win so far this season I’d expect that price to continue to drop as kickoff draws closer. However, with that low price there are plenty of great deals available with prices for the game starting at $13. Overall, this contest is the 2nd cheapest of the weekend. With an average price of under $50 bucks, only the Chargers @ Jaguars game is less.
Even with only one win, quarterback Matt Ryan has played well through Atlanta’s first five games. He’s completed almost 70% of his passes, thrown 10 touchdowns and only three interceptions. The offense as a whole has yet to gain less than 350 yards in a game this season, but the defense has given up more than 400 yards to opposing offenses in three of five of the Falcons’ games. Atlanta has also had two weeks to let a Week 5 loss to the New York Jets resonate with them because of a bye during Week 6.
Tampa Bay is two weeks removed from their bye, but their first game back against the Philadelphia had the same result as their previous four games. Running back Doug Martin has struggled behind an injured offensive line so far this season. Martin is averaging only 3.5 yards per carry, 1.1 yards off his per carry average last season. The Atlanta defense has only given up 100 yards on the ground in two games this season, but those two games were the two most recent.
