Right Guard Garrett Reynolds (aka RGGR) has never really solidified himself as a starting piece on the Falcons’ offensive line.  This season, Reynolds definitely had his worst year as a Falcon, as 3 other players came in and also underpreformed.  Cutting Reynolds will give the Falcons an extra 1.5 million dollars in cap space.  And while 1.5 million isn’t exactly an overwhelming number, it’s a pretty penny to save in exchange for a player who isn’t in the starting lineup.

Regardless of if Reynolds is let go or not, Cyril Richardson or Gabe Jackson may be suiting up for the Falcons in 2014.

UPDATE: Garrett Reynolds has been released.
