A lot of people, not even NFL fans, ask who is the highest paid player in the NFL. Is it Peyton Manning? Richard Sherman? Tom Brady?
According to Forbes.com, one of the most trusted websites out there, it is Matt Ryan with an astounding 43.8 million dollars that will go into his bank account soon enough. This is considering salaries, bonuses, endorsements, appearances and licensing which is why you tend to see other players in these type of lists.
For example, the leader in guaranteed money is Colin Kaepernick with 61 million, leader in total contract is Calvin “Megatron” Johnson with 132 million, and the player with the most money from endorsements is Peyton Manning with 12 million.
Coming right behind Ryan is Matthew Stafford with 33 million, so the gap between first and second is noticebely pretty large. Then comes Peyton Manning at 27.1 million. And after that the list goes, #4 Darelle Revis, #5 Geno Atkins.
But the player who is going to make the most money in the NFL is Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan. Not too shabby….
