Blake Bortles vs Falcons Pass Defense

We don’t exactly know how good Blake Bortles really is. All we do know is that the high-picked rookie out of the University of Central Florida looks NFL ready. Seriously, so far in the preseason through three games, Bortles is 28-of-44, 435 yards, 1 TD, 103.9 rating. What a test this will be. The Falcons pass defense was atrocious the first two games. They couldn’t get any pass rush going, and the secondary looked like crap. But, against the Tennessee Titans last week, the pass rush led by Jonathan Babineaux vastly improved which showed that this defense can still bring it. And than another thing to consider is that they were going against Jake Locker and Zach Mettenberger, two subpar QB’s. This match-up will give us Falcon fans a glimpse of what to expect in the regular season.
