Falcons vs Saints: Expect an MVP Performance By Matt Ryan

The Atlanta Falcons defense are sure to give a ton of points against this dynamic offense that the New Orleans Saints hold this Sunday morning.

Saints quarterback Drew Brees is already an mvp canidate. He has amassed 5,000 yards last season and is a top 3 quarterback in the NFL. But not a lot of fans are talking about number 2 Matt Ryan.

Despite a somewhat of a down year in 2013, I firmly believe that Ryan is a dark horse to take home the MVP award. Before we get into the specifics, take a look at your winner the year before.

“Matt Ryan is a dark horse canidate to win the MVP this season.”

There is a reason why Peyton Manning won last season. He had a boatload of weapons in Wes Welker, Demaryius Thomas, and Julius Thomas. But the voters don’t look at the weapons, they look at how well the quarterback produced. And this is where the Falcons offense comes in.

Julio Jones, who is an absolute stud, Roddy White, Harry Douglas, Devin “speedy” Hester, and Devonta Freeman are ready to let Matt Ryan soar. This group is just as good,  if not better,  than the Broncos offense in 2013.

Seriously, the Saints do not know what is coming. Yes, Brees will pick apart the defense, but the Falcons offense will seriously “Rise Up.” Being that this game is destined to be an offensive shootout, expect over 350 yards and 3 touchdowns from Matty Ice, which will put him in the MVP category. Watch out, here comes Number 2.
