"TEAM FREE AGENCY PREVIEW (included in every article of series)There is no hiding the fact that this team is going to look new, fresh, even strange. We will not be seeing Mike Smith on the sidelines anymore, but a new face. Dimitroff and the new coaches are going to want to make changes for the city of Atlanta. Players will be released, they won’t be resigned, and new athletes will come in.Keep in mind that this isn’t a team that is rebuilding. This is a team that has one of the better, if not the best, quarterbacks in the NFL in Matt Ryan, arguably the best wide receiver in the league in Julio Jones, and a play-making cornerback, Desmond Trufant."

Atlanta Falcons OT Gabe Carimi

Coming into the 2014 season, fans had high hopes for offensive tackle Gabe Carimi. They thought he and rookie Jake Matthews, if healthy, could be the future of the offensive line.

It didn’t work out.

After playing sub-par when given the starting spot, Ryan Schraeder took over and never looked back. But in a free agency point of view, there should be hope that Carimi will be back for at least a reserve spot. He’s not a Lamar Holmes, but someone who can step in when someones injured and be reliable.

The Falcons know what it’s like for offensive lineman to fall like insects. And this is why Dimitroff should do everything in his power to bring back Carimi for a backup spot. And he will.

Prediction: Re-sign OT Gabe Carimi to a 2 year, 3.5 million dollar contract
