Gabe Wright a fit for Falcons?

More from Atlanta Falcons News

We are now just 20 days away from the 2015 NFL Draft. Scott Carasik of Bleacher Report continues his series looking at potential draft prospects for the Falcons. Today, he looks at defensive lineman Gabe Wright.

"“If the Falcons took Wright, they should wait until the fourth round to do so. He’s a talented player and could go anywhere from the second round all the way to the fifth round, but the Falcons don’t need to spend the higher pick on a position that won’t be a starter right away.”"

Bennett never interested in Falcons

Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett has shot down rumors that he wanted a trade to join up with his former coach at the Falcons. According to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times, Bennett had the following to say:

"“I never asked for it. I didn’t come to them asking for a trade. I’m still trying to figure out how a guy from Dallas (the report came from Fort Worth Star-Telegram reporter Clarence Hill) can make up a story about me, I’m living in Seattle.”"

Ryan won’t use read-option

Despite a number of changes taking place in Atlanta on both sides of the football, don’t expect Matt Ryan to run the read option. David Newton of ESPN writes:

"“Some of the stuff I’ve had to kind of throw to the wayside, some of the zone-read stuff,’’ Ryan said with a laugh. “That’s been a part of what Kyle has done with some different quarterbacks he’s had.’’"
