Realistic Trade Possibilities

The Falcons could make a trade at No. 8 overall, or maybe they will look to trade their second round pick. Here are five realistic trade possibilities brought to us by Scott Carasik of Bleacher Report.

"“There are quite a few different possibilities for Falcons trades this coming draft, but all of them should fit into one of five categories. As we run down the different scenarios, we’ll assign the likelihood of each one based on previous occurrences and the logic behind whether it makes sense for this year or not.”"

Falcons looking to trade up?

Reports suggest the Falcons could be interested in trading up for a top pass rusher like Dante Fowler or Vic Beasley. Albert Beer of NFL Network initially tweeted this:

This was followed up by a more in-depth look by Scott Polacek of Bleacher Report, which you can find here.

"“Considering the Falcons were 32nd in total defense, 27th in scoring defense and 30th in sacks last season, this makes sense. The only way they will reach the 2015 playoffs is with an improved effort on defense, even with offensive players such as Matt Ryan and Julio Jones on the other side of the ball.”"

5 Best Offseason Moves

There’s been a lot of change in Atlanta this offseason, but what are their best offseason moves? Russell S. Baxter of NFL Spin Zone gives us the Falcons’ five best moves:

"“Enter sideline leader Dan Quinn and a number of new faces…as well as the departure of some notable players. So has Quinn and general manager Thomas Dimitroff made a lot of good moves to date? Here are five we thought were on the positive side.”"
