Well we are almost set for a new season of football, and confidence is building in Atlanta. When the starters have been on the field in preseason, the Falcons have outscored their opponents 31-0. It’s important not to get carried away as these are exhibition games, a completely different beast from the real games that kick off on September 10.

But there are certain players on the Atlanta Falcons roster who are poised for potentially great seasons. The Falcons already have some elite-level players like Julio Jones and Desmond Trufant, but who is ready to join them and breakout?

It’s been an offseason of change for the Falcons following a poor 6-10 finish in 2014 with an embarrassing defense. In free agency, the Falcons added linebackers Brooks Reed and Justin Durant, as well as defensive ends Adrian Clayborn and O’Brien Schofield. With the eighth overall pick of the draft, Atlanta selected Vic Beasley Jr. out of Clemson.

There were good additions on offense, too, with wide receiver Leonard Hankerson and tight end Jacob Tamme added via free agency, with running back Tevin Coleman and wideout Justin Hardy drafted inside four rounds.

So which Falcons are poised to breakout in 2015?
