We are flying through preseason, and now arrive at the third exhibition game. This one is important as we will see plenty of action from the starters. Coach Dan Quinn wants this week to be a dress rehearsal for the regular season, which is just a couple weeks away.

Last week, the Atlanta Falcons were beaten by the New York Jets. The result of a preseason game doesn’t matter, but what did was the fact the starters once again looked dominant. The offense needs no introduction, and they rolled past the Jets’ tough defense with ease. Defensively, the starters stepped up to the plate and ramped up the pressure on quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick.

When the Atlanta starters have been on the field in preseason, they have outscored their opponents 31-0. It’s as good a start as Quinn could have hoped for as head coach, but he will need to see his players continue to improve and translate these early performances into wins in the games that count.

What should we be watching out for in this game? Who should we watch? And if it’s just a preseason contest, why should we watch? All of these questions will now be answered.
