The Atlanta Falcons have some options to think about.

The Los Angeles Rams are known for having a very physical, tough defense. Always playing teams tough and holding them to minimal points. The Rams released two long time members of that defense Friday, giving the Atlanta Falcons options to think about during the upcoming free agency period.

The Rams released veterans Chris Long (defensive tackle) and James Laurinaitis (Middle Linebacker) in route of their first offseason in Los Angeles. These just happen to be positions that the Atlanta Falcons need to address during the offseason. When head coach Dan Quinn was a defensive coordinator for the Seahawks, he watched Long and Laurinaitis play twice a year, so he knows their potential. The Rams also released their big threat at tight end Jared Cook, another position the Falcons could look to target. In the following slides, I will go over whether or not these players are viable options for Atlanta as well as their strengths and weaknesses on the field.
