We are now just six days away from the 2016 NFL Draft. Blockbuster trades have been flying around already with Los Angeles and Philadelphia making moves into the top-two of the first round. Will the Atlanta Falcons play a part in the quarterback battle? The New York Jets pick at No. 20, so don’t rule out the possibility of an Arizona or Denver looking to jump ahead of them to No. 17.

As you sip your coffee this fine Friday morning, enjoy these Falcons articles from around the internet.

Falcons coach Dan Quinn speaks with free agent DL Dominique Easley — Vaughn McClure of ESPN

Dominique Easley is a former first-round pick and a player Dan Quinn coached in college. He has now spoken to Easley about potentially bringing him to Atlanta after Easley was cut by New England. Knee injuries and off-the-field issues raise red flags, but the Falcons could look for another body to their pass rush. Stay tuned.

Falcons willing to trade back in the first round to add more picks — Vaughn McClure of ESPN

This should be music to the ears of every Falcons fan. GM Thomas Dimitroff has said the team is open to trading back and he has made NFL teams aware of this. Of course, any team will say they’re willing to move back if the offer is right, but the Falcons could — and should — have more interest this year with just five selections. The more swings, the more hits. Simple. Go get some picks.

Falcons say they’re not interested in Josh Norman — Vaughn McClure of ESPN

Josh Norman was essentially released by the Carolina Panthers earlier this and has drawn plenty of interest around the league as you can imagine. The Falcons, however, are not one of those teams. And I agree. For all of Norman’s talent, he’s a 28-year-old corner who is going to be paid way over the odds. Why? Because cornerbacks are in demand and there are a lot of teams with the cap space to do it. Stay clear, Atlanta Falcons.
