Selecting a player in the early rounds of the NFL Draft can create a lot of excitement for a team’s fan base. Think Matt Ryan in 2008.

It can also cause great disappointment when that player doesn’t perform up to their draft pick. Think Jamaal Anderson in 2007.

Draft picks make a big splash and get the most coverage, but a lot of long-term starters in the NFL were never drafted. In fact, 36% of the Falcons current 80-man roster are undrafted free agents (UDFAs).

So what would the Falcons depth chart look like if the players were chosen by their draft position alone? I wanted to find out.

Hit the jump to see players not judged by their performance on the field but based solely on their draft position.
