After Jones and Trufant, this list becomes challenging to pick the best players. While this pick my be debatable in some eyes, I believe it is Paul Worrilow. What helps give Worrilow the nod on the list is the sure fact that he wasn’t supposed to be this good, ever. Worrilow wen’t undrafted in the 2013 NFL draft and was quickly picked up by the Falcons in the coming hours. Worrilow had a fantastic training camp and preseason and won the starting job at middle linebacker and has had it ever since.

He finished his rookie season with 127 tackles and two sacks which was good enough for 12th most in the NFL. In 2014, Worrilow had an even better statistical year, finishing with 143 tackles, two sacks and two forced fumbles which was good enough four fourth best in the league.

While the stats are phenomenal for an undrafted player, many believe these stats are all smoke and mirrors. The Falcons defense has been one of the worst in the league since he has been apart of the team, which has allowed him to rack up as many tackles as he has. The more time the defense spends on the field, the more opportunities for tackles! His weaknesses are more visable than Trufant’s. He lacks speed and the ability to cover wide receivers and tight ends. But, to leave him off this list would be dumb at this point. the 25-year-old still has a lot of growing left to do and should be a part of the Falcons plans for several years to come.
