He will draw less attention

Like explained before, everyone on the Texans’ defense will be worried about Julio Jones more than Roddy white or the rest of the Falcons’ receiving corps. Jones will likely see more double teams than not and will almost always have safety help over the top to prevent a long completion.

White on the other hand will be covered by the team’s second or third best cornerback rather than the best and will likely be open quite often. White is a sneaky good route runner and knows how to get open. Whether White wants catches or not, you better believe he and Matt Ryan will be looking each others way throughout the game.
