Justin Hardy, the Atlanta Falcons’ fourth round pick was expected to replace Harry Douglas as a slot receiver, but that has not been the case thus far. Hardy made the 53-man roster out of training camp but was listed as inactive in the Falcons’ first seven games.

After some begging and pleading by the fans, players and media alike, Hardy finally made his NFL debut last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and had little action. Hardy caught two passes for 21 yards. Hardy, however was open at the goal line when Matt Ryan elected to throw the ball to Jacob Tamme instead.

It is two early into his body of work to grade him. He has two catches so what is there to grade? Most importantly he is active, at least for now.
