The Atlanta Falcons’ offensive line has done a lot better than expected in 2015. Through the first four games of the year, the Falcons’ O-line ranked as the 10th best run blocking team and the 13th bets in pass blocking.

After the first eight games, the Falcons’ O-line ranks as the fourth best run blocking team and the eighth best in pass blocking. Those numbers are more than acceptable for a group that was thrown together last-minute.

The one downside to the Falcons’ O-line is the center position. After cutting Joe Hawley at the end of training camp, the Falcons have used Mike Person as their center and it hasn’t been pretty. Person has had several bad snaps which have led to turnovers.

James Stone, the backup center has also had a fumbled snap that resulted in a turnover as well.

If anything needs to be fixed going forward, it’s the center position. Excellent job from everyone else.
