Why the Atlanta Falcons will not make the playoffs

I could go on and on for another few slides, but that’s the two most important things to look at. Even if the Falcons do sneak into the playoffs in the 5 or 6 seed, they won’t stand a chance against The Cardinals, Packers or Vikings. This is a team that will be killer in a couple of years, but as of right now, they aren’t very good.

Some could argue that this season has all been smoke and mirrors. The Falcons haven’t played a competent quarterback outside of Eli Manning and Drew Brees and have lost to Jameis Winston and Blaine Gabbert while almost losing to Kirk Cousins and Zach Mettenberger.

If I had to point a finger at someone it would be the offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan. What started out as a great season for the Falcons and Shanahan has turned into a disaster. He needs to find a way to get other players involved or the Falcons could be in for a lot of losses to end the season.
