Atlanta Falcons: Five things we learned in loss to Tampa Bay

1) With the loss, the Atlanta Falcons will not make the playoffs

While it’s not a done deal, the Falcons’ playoff hopes are done with the loss to Tampa Bay. The Falcons are now two games out of a possible playoff spot with Tampa and the Seattle Seahawks ahead of them. Tampa holds a tiebreaker with the Falcons and Seattle is getting hot at just the right time.

Anything is possible, but with the Panthers on the schedule twice, it would take a miracle for the Falcons to make the playoffs at this point. It may be better to scrap the season and move into a position to acquire a better draft pick in the upcoming draft.
