Atlanta Falcons: Updated 2016 Mock Draft
Round 4, Pick 116: G Christian Westerman, 6’3 310 lbs, Arizona State
The guard position has been a consistent question mark all season. Offseason pick up of G Andy Levitre seemed to be a solid pickup however, he was a hub for penalties and roller coaster play in 2015. Enter Christian Westerman out of Arizona State who is a solid guard with decent athleticism. One thing that stands out about Westerman is his ability to drive a defender until the whistle is blown in the run game. He also has solid vision and a skill set that enables him to pull and lead the way in the zone blocking scheme. Which sounds like music to offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan. Westerman can give Atlanta another young asset to team with tackles Jake Matthews and Ryan Schraeder.
Other names to consider: C Jack Allen, QB Jacoby Brissett,
