This year’s free agent wide receiver class isn’t very deep but there are a few guys that can step in and contribute at high level for the Atlanta Falcons and Marvin Jones is one of them.

The Cincinnati Bengals’ product has quietly put together two straight seasons with at least 50 catches and 700 yards to go with 14 touchdowns. Jones has been shadowed by stud A.J. Green for the past three years but has put the team on his back at times.

Jones could easily replace Roddy White as the Falcons’ No. 2 wide receiver and help Matt Ryan spread the ball around more. Not to mention the Falcons could have the two-headed monster of Jones and Jones on opposite ends of the field. How cool would that be?

Jones made a statement earlier this week that he would not be giving the Bengals a hometown discount to return to Cincinnati which is good news for the Falcons. He wouldn’t break the bank for the Falcons but he won’t be cheap. In the end, he would be more than worth the money.
