Former Seattle Seahawks’ offensive guard J.R. Sweezy has been linked to the Atlanta Falcons per NFL Network’s Rand Getlin but so are a slew of other teams. As many as eight other teams have been linked to Sweezy thus far so the likelihood of this going down isn’t great.

However, Sweezy is very familiar with Dan Quinn even though Quinn was the defensive coordinator in Seattle while Sweezy was on offensive lineman. What Quinn does know is how good he his. His main objective in practice was to beat Sweezy so if anyone knows him, it’s Quinn.

A lot of fans don’t like this pick. they think he is slow and downright awful, but if Quinn wants him, then you have to back his decision whether you like it or not. I’d expect Sweezy to put Atlanta pretty high on his list of teams to sign with.
