3) Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons had the fifth-most yards in the NFC in 2015, but with some much-needed improvements, this is a unit that should easily crack the top 3 in 2016. Atlanta had two problems offensively a season ago. One, their interior offensive line was awful and two, they didn’t have anyone to throw the ball two outside of Julio Jones.

Well, after a very solid offseason, Atlanta added three-time pro bowl center Alex Mack to fix their O-line problems and signed receiver Mohamed Sanu to fix their receiving depth issues. Matt Ryan should have much more time to throw the ball and with all-pro receiver Jones and breakout star Devonta Freeman two of Matty Ice’s options, this is an offense that will be going places.

Are they ready to take off in year two of Kyle Shanahan’s offense? That remains to be seen, But what we do know is this. The unit will be much more constant with Mack commanding the center position and that alone will make Ryan feel much more comfortable in the pocket.
