3) Vic Beasley is huge

Vic Beasley has gained some weight and it’s as clear as day. It looks as if Beasley has put on 10-15 pounds of pure unadulterated lean muscle and that couldn’t make me any happier too see. Beasley is easily up over 250 pounds and is probably closer to 260. Beasley’s biggest knock coming out of college was that he wasn’t heavy enough. Well, now that isn’t an issue.

Beasley will likely be the Falcons’ starting strong side linebacker on first and second down, and defensive end on third down. That will give the Falcons the best of both worlds. Nobody on the Falcons is quicker than Beasley at the SAM position, and nobody is a better pass rusher. So what do you do in that situation? You put him at both and see what happens.
