Number Eight: Jimmy Williams

In the 2006 NFL Draft, the Falcons did not have a first round selection due to a trade with the Rams. They used their second round pick on Jimmy Williams, cornerback out of Virginia Tech. Williams may fall into the category of “What could have been” based on character concerns, but he’s a bust regardless. He was suspended for the first five games of the 2008 season from a marijuana possession charge in the 2007 offseason. Williams was released by the Falcons before he even served the suspensions and was out of the league altogether not long after that. With three pass deflections and one interception to his name, it’s safe to say that he’s labeled a bust.
