Three most winnable remaining games for the Atlanta Falcons
The most winnable game during the second half of the season is at home against the Carolina Panthers on Dec. 8.
The Panthers have had very little luck when it comes to winning in Atlanta, losing nine out of 11 meetings since Matt Ryan was drafted in 2008. Overall, the Panthers are 6-18 in Atlanta since the series started in 1995. The Panthers haven’t won in Atlanta since 2014 when they beat the Falcons in embarrassing fashion 34-3 to win the NFC South.
With the exception of that game, several of the matchups in Atlanta have gone the Falcons way by a comfortable margin.
There is also another huge factor in deciding the game, Roddy White‘s Ring of Honor enshrinement.
There is no doubt that the team will be extra motivated to take it to the Panthers in honor of one of the greatest and most popular Atlanta Falcons to ever put on a Falcons helmet.
There may not be any extra motivation to beat up on Cam Newton-like there usually is since he is now on the IR, but the team would love nothing more than potentially handing the Panthers a road loss that could keep them from snatching up a wild card spot.
