1. Atlanta Falcons bring some flair and trade for Gardner Minshew

Trevor Lawrence is the starter in Jacksonville regardless of what Urban Meyer may say about the open competition and incumbent Gardner Minshew is not going to be happy in Jacksonville after feeling it was his team standing on the sideline for the Jaguars isn’t a great option.

Minshew in Atlanta would be a dream scenario and another great fit for the Falcons. He is capable of stepping in and starting and if he was brought into a more stable franchise would still be a starter in this league.

The only problem for Atlanta in this scenario is the cost they are unlikely to want to spend what it would cost to acquire Minshew.

Minshew could also potentially be kept by the Jaguars as a trade chip and a capable backup. While the situation may become uncomfortable he certainly will have value when a contending team’s starting quarterback goes down. Leaving this potential move contingent on both the Falcons having a willingness to spend and the Jaguars being willing to part ways before the trade deadline with Minshew.
