Watch Jake Matthews as he takes on a very talented young pass rusher

The Falcons are playing a defensive line this week that is basically carried by one player—Josh Allen.

Josh Allen is supremely talented, there is a reason he was one of the top picks in the draft just a few years back. His rookie year was great but he took a small step back in his sophomore year, now he is on another level.

Jake Matthews will have his hands full this week. Josh Allen primarily lines up on the right side, so he will be Jake’s matchup for most of the game.

Out of any of the Falcons offensive linemen, Matthews will have the most difficult task, but luckily we will be counting on a veteran rather than a player like Matt Hennessy who continues to struggle.

It has not been a perfect year for Jake Matthews, he is easily considered the second-best offensive lineman that Atlanta has, but the gap between Lindstrom and Matthews is a lot bigger than some people may realize.

We can only hope that Matt Ryan will not worry about his blindside, it is the last thing you want if you are a quarterback.
